Mosaic Hostel was born from a simple belief — that the best travel experiences happen when strangers become friends. We opened our doors in Varanasi in 2019, in the heart of one of the world's oldest living cities, steps from the sacred Ghats of the Ganga.
We chose Varanasi because no city on earth offers a richer, more alive experience for the curious traveller. Ancient temples, winding alleys, sunrise boat rides, the Ganga Aarti — it is a city that stays with you long after you leave.
Our name comes from the idea that every guest who walks through our doors is a unique piece — different backgrounds, different stories, different destinations — and together, we form something colourful and whole. A mosaic.
